The Red Clay Strays at The Armory - Minneapolis
The Red Clay Strays are an American Southern rock and country band formed in Mobile, Alabama, in 2015. Led by vocalist Brandon Coleman and guitarist Andrew Bishop, the group pairs blues, gospel, classic rock, and outlaw-country influences with a powerful, roots-driven sound. Their early years playing small clubs and building an audience through a do-it-yourself work ethic helped lay the groundwork for their national breakthrough.
The band's 2022 album Moment of Truth brought wider attention, with songs including “Wondering Why,” “Cry,” and “Wash It All Away.” Their live shows are known for raw energy and Coleman's commanding vocals. Recognition has grown alongside their audience, including 2023 nominations for CMA New Artist of the Year and ACM New Duo or Group of the Year.
